Contact Zone (2024) - Live Cinema Performance
Contact Zone is a project of live cinema that brings together the multiple narratives of artists from the diaspora of countries that were colonized by Portugal and who now live in Lisbon.
In collaboration with the collective of artists Zelu @colectivozelu, we highlight the importance of this space as an intersection point where different cultural heritages intertwine, creating new narratives and forms of expression for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) artists in Lisbon.
Our live cinema sessions aim to promote cultural and artistic encounters that reflect the diverse narratives of these communities through the collaboration of documentary film and live musical performances by these artists.
